2012 Bluegrass State Competition Results // Morehead, KY
This past weekend, our competition teams and beginner groups took part in the Bluegrass State Competition in Morehead! It is the closest competition we have to home, making it easier for more friends and family to come support us.
It was great day for Taps in Motion teams! Sassy Taps won Grand Champion Amateur Team and Taps in Motion won Grand Champion Team, both with their standing lines! Our beginner groups did awesome and we are so excited to see them grown and learn as they venture into the competition world. All of our dancers did a wonderful job! We are so proud of them!
We are having a little contest with one of our beginner classes. They had 15 minutes to create a ‘commercial’ for the studio with some of their team-mates. We are letting you guys pick a winner out of the 3 commercials. The video with the most Facebook likes between now - July 12th wins!
2012 United We Dance // Charleston, SC Results
Congrats to Sassy Taps! They Won their age division in all 5 of their dance along with 2 overalls! It was a hard competition and the girls did great!
Taps in Motion Too was given a very special award today at the competition in Charleston - “Most Dedicated Team.” Taps Too was scheduled to be at the competition, but the girls made the decision to stay to support their team-mate Liz who is the sister of Miss Kara Collins. This group of girls are so close and there to support each other on and off the stage. Sassy Taps accepted the award on their behalf. Please continue to keep Kara, Liz, Annie & Keath in your thoughts and prayers.
